REVIEW: The Body Shop Tea Tree Blemish Fade Night Lotion

Here is yet another review on the tea tree line at The Body Shop. This lotion has got to be one of my favorite products from my routine. But before I speak more on it I would like to say that this product is not a miracle, so don't expect results in a week. If you want to know more about this product, please read on for the rest of the review and more pictures.

It always depends on your situation, so depending on the severity of your blemish scarring, only time will tell how it will work for you. But I did let time be on my side, so I stuck to this and used it nightly religiously. I've been using it for about 6 months now. And let me tell you I am so glad I did, because this worked wonders for me. Before using this there was no way I would ever leave the house without makeup, and now that it has helped me so much I can do it without even thinking about it. And trust me I have been using it for a really long time, more than I've used any other product before. I think that's the key to getting things to actually work for you is using them consistently and giving them time to work for you.

This is something I definitely recommend to anyone who wants to battle their blemish scars and win the war. I definitely have been winning, and I still haven't lost. When I use this I mix i with my cetaphil moisturizing cream because if I use this lotion alone I'll wake up super oily because it just strips your skin of its natural oils. So if even if you have oily skin like me I recommend using this along with something more moisturizing. It also helps even out redness because when I wake up I barely look like I have any marks on my face, then I wash my face and redness galore. Honestly if this didn't work for me I would be over with team clinique using that even better tone clinical corrector. But I am very much happy with this as of now, so no need to switch just yet. So as you can see this is another raving review on how much I love the products from the tea tree line at the body shop. I will definitely keep repurchasing all the products as long as god allows me to.

Packaging is also very nice as is everything else from the body shop. I love the pump, and I wish every beauty product had easy running pumps. That's all I have to say.... for now. Enjoy!

Price: $18.00USD (+10% off w/TBS Card)
Amount: 1oz./30ml
Will I repurchase?: Yes! Definitely has worked very well for me, and a definite staple.
Recession Seal: Accepted. I'm on my 2nd tube of this, but it lasted a good long time.

What The Body Shop says about their product: "The Body Shop® difference: When the seasons change, so can your skin — and sometimes not for the better. Our new Tea Tree range with a triple blend of natural active ingredients — Community Trade tea tree oil, lemon tea tree, and tamanu oil — work together to keep skin clear by helping to prevent blemishes and blackheads, and controlling excess oil. No matter what kind of climate you live in, using our Tea Tree range as your daily skin care regime will help combat existing blemishes, prevent future breakouts, and control oil and shine all year long. Best if you want to: Improve the appearance of blemish-damaged skin, control oiliness and moisturize while you sleep with a light, moisturizing, non-oily lotion that sinks into the skin."

How It Works:
-Lemon tea tree and Community Trade tea tree oil from Kenya contain properties that help fight blemishes and prevent new ones from forming.
-Tamanu oil from Madagascar has a soothing effect and helps to calm irritation and redness

Pros:
-Will last a long time.
-Don't need a lot of product per application.
-Helps get rid of blemishes and the scars they leave behind.
-Helps maintain blemish free skin.
-Helps even out redness.

Cons:
-Overpowering smell.
-Might not be the best for people with dry skin.
-Accentuates dry areas.
-Might not get rid of scars completely but will gradually fade them.

Packaging: 5/5
Value: 5/5
Effectiveness: 4/5
Overall: 4/5

Where To Buy: (The Body Shop stores or here.)

If you do plan on checking out the body shop I very much recommend getting a membership card with them! You will definitely not regret it. It's about a $10 yearly charge and you will save so much money on discounts/sales/events and occasionally even free products when you rack up points. And since I buy pretty much all my skin care stuff from there I've racked up quite a few points.
